About this fabric

This 500 gsm woven fabric is built around horizontal rows of small rectangular panels, each containing stylised animals, floral shapes or decorative motifs. The ivory background keeps the design light, while slate blue and dusty paprika-red details give the colourway a softly weathered, warm-and-cool balance rather than a bright primary contrast. With a usable width of 134 cm, the design has a 23 cm vertical repeat and a 134 cm horizontal repeat, creating a clearly structured layout across upholstery panels. Its stated 44 threads per cm support the dense, substantial feel visible in the closely woven surface.

How to use it

Use Kantha Azul/Paprika on an occasional chair, ottoman or statement bench where its ivory, blue and paprika palette can be read up close. Balance the illustrated weave with plain linen-look upholstery in warm ivory, faded blue or terracotta.

Use its ivory ground and paprika accents to bring warmth to casual upholstery, while the blue motifs add contrast.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
