About this fabric

The design is formed from narrow, irregular vertical lines, with indigo and green sections shifting along each line rather than making a rigid stripe. Indigo reads as the deeper, cooler accent, while malachite adds a muted botanical green against the creamy background, with tiny softer colour notes visible between the marks. At 346 gsm and 53 threads per cm, the cloth has a substantial, finely woven appearance suitable for both upholstery and drapery. It has a 130 cm usable width, with a 23 cm vertical repeat and 13 cm horizontal repeat for planning the compact linear motif.

How to use it

Use this colourway to introduce cool blue-green detail into a room with warm ivory, pale timber or stone tones. Its cream base keeps the indigo and malachite pattern light enough for curtains and cushions, while the 346 gsm weight also supports occasional upholstery.

A warm cream ground with cool indigo and malachite lines brings fine linear rhythm to upholstery, cushions or softly structured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
