About this fabric

Portland Lowell Nautical Flat is a 100% cotton fabric with a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat. The vertically running stripe design alternates clear red bands with inky navy blue bands, both edged by the pale ivory ground so the repeat reads clean and orderly. Its 30,000 Martindale rating and Heavy Domestic upholstery grade make it practical for everyday seating as well as accessories and drapery. The cotton surface has a neat, matte handle that keeps the colourway looking fresh rather than glossy, and the treatable FR specification adds flexibility for contract-style use.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a strong, deck-chair feel with enough ivory to stop the stripes overwhelming the room. It works especially well with painted white joinery, pale timber and simple blue-and-red accents.

Fresh nautical stripes work well on relaxed upholstery and crisp blinds.
