About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton and measuring 137 cm wide, this Portland fabric has a 35 cm vertical pattern repeat and a 30,000 Martindale rating, making it suitable for heavy domestic upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. The stripe alternates a warm off-white with a restrained grape tone that sits somewhere between mauve and old rose, giving the cloth a gentle, powdery character. Its colourfastness rating of 5 and pill rating of 4 support everyday use, while FR treatment can be applied for drapery and upholstery projects. The flat stripe layout keeps the look crisp and orderly, with enough softness in the colour to avoid feeling severe.

How to use it

Use it for tailored curtains, roman blinds or a neat upholstered accent chair where the soft grape stripe can add colour without dominating. It works especially well with chalky whites, pale timber and muted green accents.
