About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a usable width of 137 cm and a 35 cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe rhythm clear and easy to plan with. The colourway combines chalky aqua bands with deeper blue stripes on a soft white ground, so it reads cool, calm and slightly coastal rather than bold. The finish appears smooth and dry to the touch, with enough body for a neat tailored look. With a Martindale rating of 30,000 and heavy domestic upholstery grade, it is suitable for upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, and can be treated for FR use in both curtains and furniture. Colour fastness is rated 5 and pilling 4, supporting everyday use in a practical scheme.

How to use it

Use it on a relaxed armchair, bench cushion or Roman blind where the vertical stripes can bring a clean, uplifting feel. It works especially well with bleached oak, white paintwork and pale sea-glass accessories.
