Portland Lowell Grape Wavy brings a gentle rhythm of vertical stripes in dusty grape, ivory and warm beige. The herringbone-like weave gives the colourway a softly tailored finish rather than a flat stripe.

About this fabric

This colourway is woven in 100% cotton and has a usable width of 137cm, with a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical repeat. The stripe reads as a muted grape-mauve, alternating with creamy white and oatmeal-beige bands that feel calm and quietly refined. The woven texture catches the light with a slight dry crispness, while the herringbone effect adds subtle movement along the length of the stripe. With a heavy domestic upholstery grade and a Martindale abrasion result of 30,000, it is suitable for both hard-working seating and drapery, and can be FR treated for those applications.

How to use it

Use this soft grape stripe on a tailored armchair, curtain panels or Roman blinds where the vertical pattern can lift the room. It sits especially well with chalky whites, pale oak and muted taupe for a smart, understated scheme.

Pair with warm neutrals or pale timber to let the grape stripes stay elegant and calm.
