About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, Portland Newport Aqua Flat has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the narrow vertical stripe easy to work into tailored schemes. The colourway reads as a gentle aqua with a cool, misty quality against the creamy background, so the contrast stays fresh rather than bold. Its 30,000 Martindale rating and heavy domestic upholstery grade make it suitable for seating as well as curtains and accessories, and it can be treated for FR drapery and upholstery. The surface appears smooth and matte, which keeps the stripe looking soft and refined rather than glossy.

How to use it

This colourway works well in light, breezy rooms where you want a hint of colour without losing brightness. Pair it with white-painted joinery, pale woods and washed blues to reinforce the calm, nautical feel.
