About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this fabric has a fresh, dry handle visible in the neat, evenly spaced stripe pattern. The 137cm usable width and 35cm horizontal repeat make it straightforward to pattern match across larger projects. With an upholstery grade of Heavy Domestic and a Martindale result of 30,000, it is suited to both curtains and everyday seating. The colourway reads as a softened grape red rather than a bright scarlet, so it feels more composed than bold. Colour fastness of 5 and pilling of 4 add reassurance for practical use.

How to use it

Pair this restrained red stripe with painted timber, chalky whites and warm neutrals for a smart but relaxed scheme. It works especially well on a roman blind, dining chair or piped cushion where the vertical rhythm can be shown off.
