About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat, making the stripe easy to plan across cushions, blinds or fitted upholstery. The visible colour reads as a softened grape red rather than a bright crimson, so the contrast against the pale ground feels refined rather than bold. Its heavy domestic rating and 30,000 Martindale rub test support use for upholstery as well as drapery, while FR treatment is available for both applications. The cloth has the crisp, matte look you expect from cotton, with the narrow stripe adding structure without feeling busy.

How to use it

Use it for smart roman blinds, dining chair seats or accent cushions where the dusty grape stripe can bring quiet colour to a pale scheme. It pairs especially well with chalk white, warm timber and soft taupe for a calm, tailored finish.

The muted grape stripe keeps this cotton feeling crisp, tailored and easy to pair with oak or pale neutrals.
