Portland Somerville Rose Flat is a softly striped cotton with a pale rose cast set against warm ivory and stone tones. The narrow vertical pattern reads light and understated, with just enough colour to feel fresh rather than stark.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland fabric has a usable width of 137cm and a 35cm horizontal repeat, making the stripe easy to plan across curtains or upholstery panels. The colourway is a gentle blend of blush pink, chalky beige and cool grey, so the overall effect stays muted and airy rather than sugary. Its 30,000 Martindale and heavy domestic grade make it suitable for upholstery as well as drapery and accessories, while FR treatment can be applied for both curtains and seating. The fine vertical striping gives the surface a neat, tailored rhythm that suits relaxed country schemes and more polished interiors alike.

How to use it

Use it for Roman blinds, scatter cushions or a compact armchair where the soft rose stripe can lift pale walls without overpowering them. It pairs especially well with bleached woods, brushed nickel and plain linens in ivory or clay.
