About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland colourway has a clean, dry handle and a balanced mid-weight feel that works well across accessories, drapery and upholstery. The 35cm horizontal pattern repeat creates a disciplined stripe that reads clearly across the surface, while the 137cm usable width makes it practical for larger projects. With Heavy Domestic upholstery grade and a Martindale rating of 30,000, it is suited to everyday seating as well as curtains and softer furnishings. The cool blue striping sits lightly against the pale ground, so the overall effect is fresh, airy and smart rather than bold.

How to use it

Use it for structured cushions, fitted blinds or occasional upholstery where the slim blue stripe can add order without overpowering the room. It sits especially well with white-painted woodwork, natural oak and other soft blue accents.
