About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 100% cotton and has a usable width of 137cm, with a 35cm horizontal pattern repeat and no vertical repeat. It is rated Heavy Domestic with a 30,000 Martindale rub test, so it can comfortably support upholstery as well as drapery and accessories. Visually, the stripe is not high-contrast; instead, the pale cream ground is softened by clay-tinted grey bands that create a hazy, tonal rhythm. The finish looks smooth and natural rather than glossy, which keeps the overall effect refined and easy to layer into relaxed or smart interiors.

How to use it

Use it for structured curtains, slim Roman blinds or a dining chair re-cover where the gentle stripe can add height without feeling bold. The soft clay tones work especially well with warm woods, linen neutrals and brushed metal accents.

A calm neutral stripe that suits tailored curtains or understated upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
