About this fabric

Woven in 100% cotton, this Portland colourway has a smooth, matte handle and a neat vertical stripe that feels clean and composed. The soft kingfisher blue sits in a muted mid-tone range, with a gentle greyed quality that keeps the colour understated rather than bright. Pale dividing stripes sharpen the design and give the 35cm horizontal repeat a clear rhythm across the 137cm width. With a 30,000 Martindale and Heavy Domestic upholstery grade, it is suitable for upholstery as well as accessories and drapery, and it is treatable for FR use on both curtains and upholstery.

How to use it

Use it on a tailored armchair, bench or Roman blind where the blue stripe can bring order and a quiet coastal coolness. It pairs well with chalky whites, pale oak and other softened blues for a crisp but relaxed room.

The cool blue stripe feels clean and crisp against the pale ground, ideal for tailored interiors.
