About this fabric

Woven in 53% cotton and 47% viscose, this fabric has a soft handle and a fluid drapery character rather than an upholstery-weight body, and it is listed as not suitable for upholstery. The design repeats at 37cm horizontally and 63cm vertically, supporting the large-scale, waterfall-like marbling visible in the image. Opal Flat combines pale stone, warm taupe and muted grey-brown striations, so the effect is calm but not flat, with the lighter grounds catching the eye against the darker drawn lines. It is treatable for FR drapery and has a colour fastness rating of 6, making it a practical choice for decorative curtains and accessories.

How to use it

Use this opal taupe colourway in rooms that need warmth without heaviness, especially where the soft marbling can echo stone, wood or brushed metal finishes. It works well as statement drapery in neutral schemes, adding texture and movement without introducing strong colour.
