About this fabric

Woven in 53% cotton and 47% viscose, this fabric has the soft handle and graceful movement suited to drapery and accessories rather than upholstery. The design uses a large horizontal repeat of 37cm and a vertical repeat of 63cm, which suits the dramatic, cascading effect visible in the swatch. In this colourway, the opal ground reads warm and light, while taupe, walnut and charcoal strokes create a smoky, mineral depth. It is treatable for FR drapery and has a colour fastness of 6, making it a practical choice for statement curtains and blinds. Usable width is 144cm.

How to use it

Use this opal taupe version where you want pattern and movement without a harsh contrast: it sits beautifully against bronzed metals, oak, parchment and deep brown woods. It also works well for oversized cushions or a pelmet where the painterly wave can be shown to best effect.
