About this fabric

The sable colour sits between muted taupe and soft brown, giving the cloth a grounded warmth without becoming strongly dark or saturated. Its small, even weave is clearly visible across the swatch, while the folds create subtle bands of shadow and highlight rather than a printed pattern. At approximately 137cm wide, this fabric is supplied for curtains and fixed upholstery, with a Contract and General Domestic upholstery grade. The composition is 96% linen and 4% nylon, and after-care is dry clean.

How to use it

Use Montecatini Sable to upholster a relaxed armchair, dining seat or fixed banquette where its warm taupe-brown tone can sit comfortably with timber, stone and natural finishes. It also works as softly textured curtains when a room needs warmth without a strong pattern.
