About this fabric

The design is printed with branching foliage that sweeps diagonally across the closely woven ground, interspersed with small blue-lilac flowers and tiny buds. Its cool, softened colour palette has a washed, powdery quality rather than a bright or saturated finish, while the fine crosshatched texture adds subtle depth beneath the pattern. This textile is tagged for cushions and is suitable for a versatile mid-weight upholstery or drapery application. Allow 3% shrinkage, and care for it with a Delicate Wash at 30°C or Dry Clean.

How to use it

Use the cream ground as a light neutral for cushions or relaxed occasional upholstery, then pick up the dusty blue in painted timber or the muted lilac in smaller decorative accents. Its cool, faded tone works especially well where a botanical pattern is wanted without strong contrast.

The chalky blue and lilac botanical sprigs bring a cool, softly faded character to cushions, blinds and occasional upholstery.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Magic Lantern Sea Holly without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
