About this fabric

This colourway has a pale, airy blue character, softened by creamy yarns and slender grey-beige accents rather than a strong or saturated contrast. Its small-scale check is formed through the weave, creating a softly irregular rhythm that gives the surface visual depth as the threads shift across the cloth. The composition is 13% Linen, 20% Polyester, 21% Cotton, 3% Acrylic and 43% Viscose, with an approximate width of 137cm. Supplied for Fixed Upholstery at Contract and General Domestic grade, it should be dry cleaned according to the stated after-care guidance.

How to use it

Use this cool duck egg blue on a compact sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard, then warm the scheme with ivory, putty, pale timber and brushed metal. Its small woven check can sit comfortably beside plain linens and understated textured cushions without dominating the room.

Pair the cool duck egg ground with ivory, pale grey and warm natural wood for a quietly tailored scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
