Hartland Heather

Hartland FabricLF2191C

Hartland Heather combines a cool grey ground with fine lilac, lavender and muted tan yarns in a tightly woven, small-scale check. Its softly mottled surface gives the colourway depth without losing its tailored geometric structure.

About this fabric

The close-up shows repeated rectangular checks formed by intersecting pale and darker threads, with lilac-grey bands and warm tan flecks breaking through the cooler base. The textured weave has a softly nubby, basket-like appearance that catches the light unevenly across the surface. At approximately 137cm wide, Hartland Heather is specified for fixed upholstery in Contract and General Domestic settings. Its composition is 13% linen, 20% polyester, 21% cotton, 3% acrylic and 43% viscose, with dry-clean care.

How to use it

Use Hartland Heather on a structured armchair, sofa or dining seat where its cool grey-lilac tone can balance warm timber and tan leather. Keep surrounding plains muted so the small woven check remains visible without becoming busy.

Use the cool grey-lilac and muted tan check to bring tailored texture to contemporary or softly traditional upholstery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
