About this fabric

This small-scale geometric weave combines broken vertical and horizontal marks rather than a flat printed repeat. The dominant blue reads muted and slightly smoky, while tan and cream threads catch across the surface to soften the cooler ground with understated warmth. At approximately 137cm wide, Hartland Nautical is specified for fixed upholstery and carries Contract and General Domestic upholstery grades. Its composition is 13% linen, 20% polyester, 21% cotton, 3% acrylic and 43% viscose, with dry-clean after-care.

How to use it

Use this blue-and-tan colourway on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its compact woven texture can complement warm wood, natural linens and aged brass. Cream and tobacco accents will draw out the lighter and warmer threads without losing the fabric’s cool depth.

Pair its cool blue ground with warm tan timber, cream upholstery accents or softly aged leather.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
