Hartland FabricLF2191C

Hartland Smoke Blue is a compact woven design with a cool, softened blue ground and a tightly repeated geometric structure. Fine cream, tan and darker blue threads give the surface a subtly layered, textile-rich appearance.

About this fabric

The small-scale pattern reads as an irregular woven grid, with broken vertical and horizontal marks in smoke blue, warm tan, cream and deeper blue-grey. Its closely worked texture gives the colourway quiet depth rather than a flat block of colour, while the muted blue keeps the overall effect calm and cool. At approximately 137cm wide, it is specified for Fixed Upholstery at Contract and General Domestic grades. The composition is 13% Linen, 20% Polyester, 21% Cotton, 3% Acrylic and 43% Viscose, with Dry Clean after-care.

How to use it

Use Smoke Blue on a tailored armchair, sofa or dining seat where its small geometric weave can add pattern without overwhelming the room. Balance the cool blue with tan leather, pale woods, chalky neutrals or warm brass for a considered contrast.

Pair the cool smoke-blue ground with warm tan, cream and natural timber accents.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Hartland Smoke Blue without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
