Sisal Shell

Sisal Shell presents a pale shell-beige ground with delicate horizontal variation across the surface. Fine darker flecks and broken lines give the wallpaper a softly tactile, natural appearance.

About this wallpaper

Catalogued as wallpaper, Sisal Shell has a calm, low-contrast appearance rather than a pronounced printed motif. Its warm beige tone sits close to ivory and light greige, while the subtle horizontal striations create gentle depth across the wall. Sparse darker marks interrupt the surface and prevent the colour from feeling flat. The overall effect is quiet and relaxed, with texture doing the visual work.

How to use it

Pair this pale shell beige with chalky whites, light oak and soft taupe for an airy, tonal scheme. Its restrained horizontal texture also works well behind simple furniture where the wall needs understated warmth without a strong pattern.

Use this softly textured shell beige to add quiet warmth and subtle movement to walls.

Pairs well with

Sisal Shell is a quiet cloth, so it carries a pattern beside it: one of these on the curtains and this on the chair. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
