Gramercy Plaster

Timeless Velvets Velvet

Gramercy Plaster reads as a pale plaster taupe, with softly shifting beige-grey tones across the velvet nap. The folded swatch shows a gently brushed surface that catches the light in broad, quiet bands.

About this fabric

This colourway has a restrained, warm-neutral cast: lighter ivory-beige areas sit alongside softly shaded taupe, giving the surface more depth than a flat cream. The close view shows a fine, even velvet pile with a subtly mottled appearance rather than a printed motif. Horizontal folds deepen the shade in places and reveal how the nap changes as it turns towards and away from the light. It is catalogued as Velvet, with no performance features noted in the supplied specification.

How to use it

Use Gramercy Plaster to bring a calm, pale taupe note to an upholstered armchair, sofa or headboard. Its plaster-like neutrality works especially well with chalky whites, warm stone, weathered wood and softly aged metals.

A pale, softly mottled velvet with a quiet plaster-like depth, suited to upholstered seating and headboards.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
