About this fabric

The olive pigment reads muted and slightly warm against the pale linen ground, giving the pattern a quieter depth than a high-contrast botanical. Fine drawn leaves and clustered flowers fill the surface, while the visible textile grain softens the outlines. At 260 gsm, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its usable width is 137 cm, with a 22.5 cm vertical repeat and 23 cm horizontal repeat for planning the continuous design.

How to use it

Use this olive-and-linen colourway for relaxed curtains, a reading-chair seat or occasional cushions, pairing it with warm off-whites, natural timber and understated olive accents. Its compact 22.5 x 23 cm repeat also works well where a richly patterned but controlled scale is wanted.

The muted olive and linen palette suits curtains, occasional upholstery and layered botanical interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Marigold Olive/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
