Melsetter Wide Width Indigo/Sage

Simply Wide Width FabricMOF0224-01

Melsetter Wide Width Indigo/Sage shows a densely arranged botanical scene on a soft cream ground, with curling branches, small flowers and perched birds. Deep indigo leaves and blooms give the design cool definition, while sage and pale blue-green details soften its overall effect.

About this fabric

The cream background is interlaced with branching stems, leafy sprays, birds and stylised flowers, creating a richly illustrated repeat rather than a simple scattered floral. Indigo provides the darkest accents, while muted sage, dusty blue and warm beige details add depth without making the colourway feel harsh. At 232 gsm, with 37 threads per centimetre, this is a versatile mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery. Its 304 cm usable width is particularly practical for broad curtain drops, while the pattern repeats vertically every 107 cm and horizontally every 76 cm.

How to use it

Pair the cool indigo and sage notes with chalky creams, pale timber and soft blue-grey furnishings. The generous width makes it effective on full-height curtains, while the detailed botanical surface can bring character to an occasional chair or statement cushion.

Use this cool, detailed colourway for relaxed upholstery or full-length curtains where its cream ground can brighten the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
