The Craftsman Fabrics FabricMOF0061-03

Rosehip Indigo sets slender indigo leafy sprigs and small rounded buds against a softly warm cream ground. The closely spaced pattern has a cool, ink-blue clarity while the textile surface retains a subtle tactile quality.

About this fabric

The repeated botanical trails run diagonally across the cloth, with paired leaves and small indigo berry-like buds creating a fine, closely settled rhythm. At 300 gsm and 49 threads per cm, this is a substantial mid-weight fabric suited to both upholstery and drapery applications. Its usable width is 137 cm, while the 34 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeats make the design straightforward to align across panels or adjacent pieces. The cream background keeps the overall effect light, allowing the deep indigo marks to provide definition without becoming harsh.

How to use it

Use Rosehip Indigo to bring a cool, tailored note to a reading chair, bench or lined curtain, pairing the cream ground with chalky neutrals and the indigo detail with darker blue accents. Its small-scale repeat can also sit comfortably alongside plain upholstery or a larger, quieter pattern.

A cool indigo-and-cream botanical that brings crisp pattern and gentle contrast to upholstery, cushions or curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
