Nomad Velvet Denim combines a cool, muted denim ground with vertical geometric bands and repeated diamond medallions. Ochre, olive, rust and pale blue accents give the velvet pattern a softly weathered, tapestry-like depth.

About this fabric

The velvet surface is patterned with alternating narrow stripes and larger diamond motifs, with the denim-blue areas creating a strong, cool contrast against ochre, olive, tan and rust details. Its 60 cm vertical repeat and 134 cm horizontal repeat establish a pronounced, rhythmical layout across the 134 cm width. Made from 83% cotton and 17% polyester, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads. The 9,000 Wyzenbeek Wire Mesh rub test supports upholstery use, while professional dry cleaning is required; do not wash, bleach or iron.

How to use it

Use the denim ground to anchor a study, snug or bedroom, pairing it with warm timber, aged brass and ochre or rust textiles to draw out the pattern’s warmer flecks. As curtains, its vertical striping can bring structure and depth to a room without losing the softness of the velvet pile.
