Follies Emerald presents a collection of ornate garden pavilions, domes and gazebos across a soft cream linen ground. Saturated emerald structures give the scene a jewel-like focus, balanced by pale foliage, ochre details and dusky architectural accents.

About this fabric

This 100% linen design uses a spacious 90 cm vertical repeat and a 147 cm horizontal repeat to arrange its individually illustrated follies, trees and ornamental shelters. The emerald is rich and cool in the domes and rooflines, while the cream background keeps the overall impression light rather than dense. Fine botanical marks, dark green outlines and touches of muted gold give the pattern a composed, painterly character. At 147 cm wide, it is suitable for curtains, loose upholstery, fixed upholstery and bedspreads; it must be professionally dry cleaned and should not be washed, bleached or ironed.

How to use it

Use Follies Emerald on full-length curtains to let the cream ground brighten the room, or upholster a statement chair where the emerald domes can be read at close range. Pair it with warm timber, aged brass and quiet cream textiles to bring out its garden pavilion imagery without competing with the pattern.
