About this fabric

The almost-black face has a dense, softly napped appearance with very little visible pattern. Fine irregular fibres create faint charcoal variation across the surface, preventing the colour from reading as a completely flat black. Its light-absorbing depth gives this colourway a restrained, tailored presence suited to upholstery.

How to use it

Use Earth - Bourneville on a statement chair, sofa or footstool where its deep charcoal tone can anchor a room. Pair it with warm timber, brushed metal or lighter textiles to draw out the subtle surface variation.

Use this near-black, softly textured fabric to give upholstered seating a deep, tailored finish.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
