About this fabric

The burgundy field has a muted, inky depth rather than a bright red cast, while the fine cream and charcoal stripes create a crisp linear structure. A subtle woven surface is visible across the ground, softening the precision of the stripe without disguising it. The vertical layout would read particularly clearly over broad upholstered faces or full-length window treatments. No performance features are noted for this fabric.

How to use it

Use this colourway to add tailored warmth to a study, dining chair or occasional sofa, pairing the wine tone with charcoal, aged timber and small accents of cream. On curtains or blinds, the vertical striping can give the window treatment a clean, architectural line.

A tailored burgundy stripe that brings strong vertical rhythm to upholstery, curtains or blinds.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside W5090/A01 without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
