Kielder multi

Pennington Fabrickielder/fa1/blu

Kielder Multi is a bright, painterly floral on a soft cream ground, with looping stem motifs in teal, lime, blush, plum and warm ochre. The design feels open and organic, with the colours sitting lightly across the woven surface.

About this fabric

This fabric is made from 78% cotton and 22% polyester and has a Martindale rub count of 15,000, making it suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. The visible weave has a natural, lightly textured look that keeps the large-scale floral pattern feeling relaxed rather than formal. In this multi colourway, the palette is airy and fresh: cooler teal and pale blue notes sit alongside lime, soft pink, plum and mustard accents on an off-white base. The overall effect is lively but softened, so the pattern reads clearly without becoming harsh or overly saturated.

How to use it

Use Kielder Multi to lift a neutral interior with colour, especially against pale painted walls, light oak or softly patterned coordinating cushions. It works well where you want a decorative statement that still feels breezy and textural.

Let the airy cream ground and painterly looped stems bring gentle colour without overwhelming the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
