About this fabric

This substantial woven fabric weighs 594gsm and has a usable width of 143cm, making it well suited to upholstery. Narrow honey-gold and blue-green lines run vertically, interrupted by small horizontal woven marks that create a finely checked rhythm rather than a flat stripe. The warm golden tone is softened by the cream ground, while the cooler blue-green threads add depth and keep the colourway from reading as purely yellow. Its 7.5cm vertical repeat and 4cm horizontal repeat describe the compact scale of the pattern, with 44 threads per centimetre contributing to the tightly detailed surface.

How to use it

Use Charnwood Honey on a tailored armchair, bench or dining seat where its warm golden stripe can sit alongside natural timber and cream upholstery. Pick out the blue-green threads with muted teal or soft sage accents for a more layered scheme.

Use this warm honey-gold stripe to bring structured colour and a finely woven look to upholstered seating.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Charnwood Honey without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
