Poacea Indigo
Zanzibar Weaves FabricSCF0090-02
Poacea Indigo pairs a pale cream ground with closely spaced, muted indigo-blue botanical sprigs. The cool blue-grey tone gives the small-scale design a calm, lightly faded character.

About this fabric
The repeating sprigs are arranged in neat vertical rows, with each stylised stem and leaf clearly defined against the light ground. Its 16.5 cm vertical and 17.5 cm horizontal pattern repeats create a consistent, finely scaled surface rather than a bold oversized motif. At 499 gsm and 51 threads per cm, this is a dense, substantial woven fabric suited to upholstery. The 130 cm usable width and 35 m standard length provide practical coverage for furniture projects.
How to use it
Use Poacea Indigo on a reading chair, headboard or compact sofa where its cool indigo tone can sit alongside ivory, chalk, pale oak and soft grey. Its orderly botanical repeat also works well on cushions or a coordinated upholstered bench.
Use this dense indigo-and-cream weave to bring quiet botanical structure to upholstered seating and occasional chairs.

Pairs well with
A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Poacea Indigo without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.
Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
