About this fabric

This 220 gsm fabric has a 137 cm usable width, making it a versatile mid-weight choice for both upholstery and drapery applications. The visible design is built from overlapping leaves, fine vein lines and broad, brush-like blue-grey marks that vary in depth across the surface. Its 91.4 cm vertical repeat and 137 cm horizontal repeat give the pattern a substantial scale, while the ivory ground keeps the overall effect open. The cool slate tone reads particularly softly against the pale background, with the irregular drawing adding texture without relying on a raised surface.

How to use it

Use Padua Slate on an occasional chair, relaxed blind or full-length curtain where its cool blue-grey foliage can sit against warm ivory, pale timber and natural textures. Its quiet contrast also works well as a botanical accent in a predominantly neutral room.

Use the cool slate-blue leaves with ivory upholstery, relaxed curtains or soft furnishings for a light, painterly botanical scheme.
