About this fabric

The fabric has a quiet, plain-weave appearance rather than a printed motif, with delicate textural variation giving the blue surface gentle depth. This is a cool, greyed blue rather than a bright or strongly saturated shade, so it reads calm and understated in the light. At 280 gsm and 137 cm usable width, Alora Chambray is a versatile mid-weight for upholstery or drapery. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the cloth can be cut without pattern matching, and its standard length is 40 m.

How to use it

Use this muted blue on a relaxed occasional chair, headboard or full-length curtain where its fine woven texture can be seen up close. Pair it with chalky whites, pale timber and cool grey accents to reinforce the colourway’s calm, blue-grey character.
