Alessia Indigo

Alonso FabricCCF0143-14

Alessia Indigo is a deep, cool-toned textile with a smoky indigo ground and softly broken, crosshatched surface marks. Its low-contrast tonal variation gives the swatch a shadowed, atmospheric character rather than a defined printed motif.

About this fabric

The colour moves between blue-black indigo, muted slate and subtle plum-grey undertones, creating visible depth across the irregular brushed texture. Rather than a crisp motif, the surface reads as layered horizontal and vertical marks with a gently weathered appearance. At 310 gsm and 140 cm usable width, it is a versatile mid-weight textile suited to upholstery and drapery. The design has a 50 cm vertical repeat and a 49.5 cm horizontal repeat, allowing the softly broken pattern to be considered across larger lengths.

How to use it

Pair Alessia Indigo with chalky neutrals, smoked timber and aged metal to balance its cool, inky depth. Used on a chair, headboard or full-length curtain, its muted crosshatched texture can add atmosphere without introducing a high-contrast pattern.

Use the deep indigo ground to bring cool, atmospheric depth to upholstery, curtains or layered schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
