Alessia Spice

Alonso FabricCCF0143-20

Alessia Spice has a warm, earthy spice tone, overlaid with a softly distressed crosshatched texture. Its layered surface shifts between russet, terracotta and subtly darker marks as the light moves across the cloth.

About this fabric

The surface is visibly mottled rather than plain, with irregular horizontal and vertical markings that create a worn, textile-like depth in this rich terracotta colourway. At 310 gsm, the fabric has a versatile mid-weight presence suited to both upholstery and drapery. It is supplied at a 140 cm usable width and a standard length of 30 m. The design has a 50 cm vertical repeat and a 49.5 cm horizontal repeat, giving the textured grid a measured rhythm beneath its softened, uneven finish.

How to use it

Use Alessia Spice to bring warmth to an upholstered chair, banquette or relaxed curtain scheme, pairing its russet terracotta depth with aged timber, tan leather and muted neutrals. The distressed crosshatching works particularly well where a room needs colour without a crisp geometric pattern.

A warm, softly weathered terracotta with enough visual texture to add depth without dominating a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
