About this fabric

Chiswick Grove Sage from Sanderson’s Country Woodland Fabrics collection is a 207 gsm fabric with a usable width of 138 cm, making it well suited to tailored curtains and decorative soft furnishings. The design shows a gentle sage background lifted by washed leaf greens, chalk white blossom and tiny bird details touched with warm beige and soft grey. Its 73 cm vertical repeat and full-width 138 cm horizontal repeat suit a large-scale scenic pattern, so the branches and birds can be allowed room to breathe. The finish feels calm and lightly textured in the way the artwork softens into the cloth, giving the colourway a washed, country-house look.

How to use it

Use this sage colourway where you want pattern but not contrast: it works beautifully in a bedroom, garden room or sitting room with pale oak, linen and aged brass. The muted green tones keep the woodland motif fresh and restful rather than busy.
