Chiswick grove Silver

Country Woodland Fabrics FabricSAF0201-01

Chiswick Grove Silver has a cool, misted ground that lets the woodland trail pattern sit softly across the surface. Birds, leaves and blossoms are picked out in pale cream, taupe and blush, giving the design a hushed, airy feel.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a light silver grey with a chalky, weathered look rather than a bright metallic finish, so the foliage and flowers feel gently layered into the cloth. The design is a scenic woodland pattern with birds, branching stems, leaves and blossom heads rendered in delicate outline and soft painterly shading. At 138 cm usable width and 207 gsm, it is a substantial decorative fabric with enough body for relaxed drapery and lighter upholstery applications. The 73 cm vertical repeat and full-width 138 cm horizontal repeat create a large, flowing pattern that needs room to show the branches and birds to best effect. With no performance features noted, it is best chosen for interiors where the emphasis is on pattern, tone and a quietly elegant finish.

How to use it

Use it for curtains, Roman blinds or a feature chair where the pale silver ground can keep the room feeling open. It sits especially well with bleached oak, linen upholstery and muted botanical accents.

Pair with chalky linens and pale wood for a calm, airy scheme.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Chiswick grove Silver without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
