About this fabric
This Sanderson fabric has a usable width of 141 cm, a standard length of 35 m, and a 35 cm vertical by 17.5 cm horizontal repeat, so the leaf motif is easy to plan across larger drops and upholstery runs. At 499 gsm and 51 threads per cm, it feels substantial enough for tailored soft furnishings while still keeping the pattern crisp. The colourway is a very soft fennel green, more herbal than bright, with the botanical forms sitting in a low-contrast tonal weave that keeps the surface calm. Against the warm ivory background, the repeated leaf sprigs create a fresh but understated rhythm rather than a bold contrast.
How to use it
Use Elm Fennel on an upholstered bedroom chair, window seat or pair of Roman blinds where its muted green can echo garden views. It works especially well with painted timber, limestone tones and natural linens.
A calm botanical with a fresh fennel tint that sits neatly in classic country schemes.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Elm Fennel without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
