About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country Woodland Fabrics collection has a usable width of 128 cm and a substantial 290 gsm handle, which gives the cloth enough body for tailored soft furnishing as well as relaxed window treatments. The embroidered fern motifs sit in a very gentle ivory-and-cream range, so the pattern reads quietly rather than boldly, with the leaves only just lifting from the ground. A 39 cm vertical repeat and 64 cm horizontal repeat create a generous, open layout that suits larger-scale upholstery pieces or curtains where the motif can breathe. With 67 threads per cm, the cloth appears finely woven beneath the embroidery, adding a neat, refined finish to the woodland design.

How to use it

Use this soft ivory colourway on a headboard, occasional chair or Roman blind where the pale embroidery can catch daylight without overpowering the room. It works especially well with warm timber, chalky paint and other natural linens.
