Country House Fabrics FabricSAF0196-03

Annandale Weave Willow shows a delicate all-over botanical weave in a soft, muted green. The pattern reads light and finely detailed, with the cream motif lifting gently from the willow ground.

About this fabric

From Sanderson’s Country House Fabrics collection, this fabric is woven at 140 cm wide and has a substantial 425 gsm weight, giving it a reassuringly full handle. The pattern repeat is 58.5 cm vertically and 69 cm horizontally, so the leaf-and-fruit motif settles into a clearly structured decorative layout across the cloth. In this Willow colourway, the ground is a pale sage-willow green with a cool, dusty cast, while the design sits in a soft cream that keeps the overall effect calm and airy. The dense weave and fine thread count of 62 threads per cm help the surface look crisp and tailored rather than fluffy or loose.

How to use it

This muted green works beautifully on upholstered chairs, bench seats or a headboard where you want pattern without heaviness. Pair it with natural oak, chalky paint colours and undyed linens to keep the room fresh and quietly country-house in feel.

A pale willow tone that feels refined and easy to pair with timber, stone and linen.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Annandale Weave Willow without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
