About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric from the Country House Fabrics collection has a usable width of 138 cm and a substantial 375 gsm weight, giving the cloth a tailored, upholstery-friendly feel. The pattern repeat is 16 cm vertical by 14 cm horizontal, and the geometric trellis is set out in a precise, lattice-like rhythm. In this colourway, the blue is pale and cool rather than vivid, with a softly washed look that lets the chalk motif stand out gently instead of sharply. The fine woven surface and 27 threads per cm create a smooth, lightly textured finish that suits traditional interiors with a fresher, airier note.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair or ottoman where the soft blue can lift heavier woods and darker upholstery. It also works well with white-painted joinery and silvered accents for a restrained country-house palette.
