About this fabric

This Sanderson Country House Fabrics design is a substantial fabric with a 365 gsm weight and 47.5 threads per cm, which gives the surface a dense, well-defined handle. The 140 cm usable width and 37 cm vertical repeat / 36.5 cm horizontal repeat make the check read clearly across larger pieces, while the cherry pink stripes add a lively focal point against biscuit, cream and soft green grounds. Visually, the colourway feels warm and slightly sun-washed, with the pinks sitting deeper than a blush but softer than a true red. It has the substance to suit upholstery, and the woven texture keeps the pattern looking grounded and traditional rather than polished.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, banquette or cushions where the cherry pink bands can bring colour without overpowering the room. It works especially well with oak, worn leather and painted cabinetry in cream or sage.

Pair with ticking stripes, painted timber and warm neutrals for a classic country look.
