About this fabric

This Sanderson fabric is a printed textile with a usable width of 138 cm and a substantial 300 gsm weight, making it a practical mid-weight option for furnishings. The design reads as a graceful fig motif, with chalky blue foliage, soft grey stems and pale yellow-green fruits scattered over a warm ivory base. The 62 cm vertical repeat and 46 cm horizontal repeat create a generous, open pattern that keeps the overall effect airy rather than busy. Its 19.5 threads per cm give the cloth a refined handle and a clearly defined printed surface, while the muted Wedgwood-toned blues keep the palette cool and restful.

How to use it

Use it on a small armchair, cushions or a relaxed bench where the pale ground can brighten the room. It pairs especially well with oak, aged brass and washed blue accents to pick up the cool fig leaf tones.

A soft, airy fig motif with chalky blue leaves for a calm country-room look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
