About this fabric

This Sanderson x Giles Deacon fabric has a usable width of 140cm and a substantial 340gsm weight, which gives the cloth a sturdy, upholstered feel in the hand. The 4.5cm horizontal repeat creates evenly spaced pinstripes with a crisp edge, while the 158 threads per cm specification suggests a very tightly woven surface. In this colourway the blue reads muted and slightly weathered, sitting more like smoggy duck egg than bright sky, so the linen ground stays warm and light beside it. The overall effect is restrained, smart and characterful rather than bold.

How to use it

Use it on an armchair, ottoman or a pair of dining seats where the cool blue stripe can sharpen pale timber, oak or painted finishes. It also works well with chalky whites and putty tones because the linen ground keeps the pattern feeling airy.

A crisp small stripe that feels tailored and quietly coastal.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Regency Aperigon Smog Blue/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
