About this fabric

Damson Blossom Rosemary/Birch from Sanderson x National Trust Volume II is a fabric with a usable width of 127 cm and a 57 cm vertical repeat, so the clustered trailing sprigs read in generous, full motifs across the width. At 395 gsm, it has enough substance to feel reassuring for upholstery, while the 37 threads per cm suggest a finely worked woven surface. In this colourway the cream base looks warm and slightly antique, giving the brown-tinted leaves a mellow, bark-like depth rather than a sharp outline. The blossom detail sits softly on top, creating a gentle sheen that lifts the design without making it feel glossy.

How to use it

Use it on an occasional chair, bedroom headboard, or tailored curtains where the warm cream ground can brighten a room without reading stark. It works especially well with natural timber, aged brass, and other muted botanical tones.

A warm cream ground with gently shimmering blossom suits elegant upholstery or relaxed curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
