Oology Portal Silkie

Sanderson x Giles Deacon Wallpaper WallpaperSAW0210-01

Oology Portal Silkie presents an archaeological arrangement of eggs and shells against a softly warm ivory ground. This colourway is lifted by russet, ochre and muted sage markings, giving the intricate composition a naturally weathered depth.

About this fabric

The design combines oversized speckled eggs, smaller oval forms and orderly rows of tiny motifs, creating a richly varied surface across the panel. Its warm ivory base keeps the overall impression light, while terracotta-russet, toasted brown, ochre and restrained sage details add a gently aged, collected character. With a 68.5 cm usable width and a 100 cm vertical pattern repeat, the arrangement has a substantial scale suited to making the full motif legible on a wall. The supplied standard length is 10.05 m and the wallpaper weight is 162 gsm.

How to use it

Pair this warm ivory colourway with chalky neutrals, weathered timber and russet or ochre accents to echo the eggs’ natural markings. It would make an atmospheric feature wall in a study, bedroom or intimate sitting room.

Use this warm ivory wallpaper to bring an artful, collected feel to a study, bedroom or feature wall.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
