Ikon Malachite

Ikon Fabric

Ikon Malachite shows a layered geometric grid in a muted malachite-olive palette, broken up by chalky cream lines and soft blue-grey blocks. The brushed, striated surface gives the pattern a painterly, slightly weathered feel.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, this Warwick fabric is 140 cm wide and has a 35 cm horizontal and vertical repeat, making the block layout straightforward to pattern match. The design reads as overlapping rectangles with a textured, brush-mark finish rather than a hard-edged graphic print. In this Malachite colourway, the greens lean olive and mossy, while the blues sit in a subdued slate range, all lifted by pale ivory pathways between the blocks. With a 60,000+ Martindale rub test and use for curtaining and upholstery, it is a practical choice where a decorative surface also needs durability.

How to use it

The muted green-and-blue palette works well with warm timber, oatmeal upholstery and aged brass details. It can anchor a smart sitting room or add controlled colour to curtains in a study or bedroom.

Use with plain linens or walnut wood to keep the patterned surface feeling tailored.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Ikon Malachite without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
