About this fabric

The colour sits at the darkest end of the purple spectrum, balancing blackened depth with a restrained plum warmth rather than appearing brightly violet. A fine, close-set weave is visible across the surface, giving the plain cloth understated texture without a contrasting motif. The dense, opaque appearance makes it well suited to upholstery applications. No composition, width, rub test or other performance specification has been supplied for this colourway.

How to use it

Use Mystere Amethyst on a shaped chair, footstool or compact sofa where its near-black purple tone can act as a dramatic anchor. Pair it with smoky greys, muted mauves or warm brass to draw out the subtle amethyst cast.

Its almost-black amethyst tone brings depth to tailored upholstery and pairs naturally with charcoal, plum and aged metallic accents.
